Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to join our healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in healthcare informatics with a focus on pharmacy systems, clinical process improvement, and data governance. This role will play a critical part in the development and enhancement of clinical workflows, pharmaceutical supply chain management, and data analytics within the enterprise ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and support clinical and pharmacy informatics initiatives across the healthcare organization.
Design, develop, and optimize clinical workflows and system process flows aligned with best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve clinical business processes and integrate informatics solutions.
Manage and maintain pharmaceutical supply chain systems and standards, including :
Qatar National Drug Coding System
Qatar National Formularies
Pharmacy Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS)
Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare data standards and regulations.
Drive data governance and enterprise information management efforts across clinical systems.
Develop and maintain Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), and Data Security frameworks.
Support the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics tools.
Enable integration and interoperability of systems via Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelors degree in Healthcare Informatics, Pharmacy, or a related clinical field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare informatics, with demonstrated impact in a similar role.

Proven experience in clinical business process improvements and workflow development.

Solid understanding of pharmaceutical informatics and drug supply chain operations.

Knowledge of Qatar's healthcare systems and regulations is highly desirable.

Expertise in enterprise data management including :

Data Governance

Master & Reference Data Management (MDM / RDM)

EDW, BI, and Analytics platforms

Data Access and Security

Familiarity with interoperability standards and HIEs in the healthcare environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory) :

Certification in Healthcare Informatics or Clinical Information Systems

PMP or other Project Management certifications

Certification in Data Governance or Data Management
