Graduate Trainee Programme – (Qatari Nationals Only)

HSBC offers a dynamic Graduate Trainee Programme designed to unlock new opportunities for recent graduates. Join a team working together to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets across Corporate & Institutional Banking, HSBC International Wealth & Premier Banking, Digital Business Services, and Risk & Compliance.

Role Purpose

The Graduate Programme is an 18‑month to 2‑year rotational programme providing on‑the‑job training in a fast‑paced environment.
The programme focuses on professional development and real‑time tailored personal growth opportunities.
Participants will gain specialist development in specific areas of HSBC’s Qatar operations and receive placement options aligned with their interests and aspirations.
Leadership development runs parallel to business‑specific training, including mentoring, communication, influencing, business partnering, teamwork, and job rotations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues across CIB, IWPB, Digital Business Services, and Risk & Compliance.

Participate in four six‑month placements to develop specialist knowledge of HSBC operations.

Engage in leadership development activities : mentoring, communication, influencing, teamwork, and business partnering.

Apply analytical, financial, and decision‑making skills to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area with a minimum GPA of 2.8 / 4.0.

Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors.

Exposure to a global environment and strong teamwork skills.

Analytical and financial skills, prioritizing, organizational and time‑management abilities, and decision‑making capability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Only Qatari Nationals will be considered.
