THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of PQS, now seeks a SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in QATAR.

This role is for a 3‑month period due to unexpected emergency leave.

You will work mainly post‑contract duties based in the client’s PMO.

Duties include handling construction procurement, payments, contract administration working on multiple work packages.

This role requires someone quickly available.

THE CANDIDATE

You should be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is MRICS qualified.

You need a BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

You need to have good post‑contract Quantity Surveying experience; some pre‑contract experience useful.

You should be immediately available and willing to work over the Christmas and New Year period as required and be available for an urgent start.

You should be happy to work in client’s offices.

You should have 10‑20 years of experience, ideally with much of it working for a firm of PQS.

You must have excellent English (written and spoken), good IT skills and client‑facing skills.

Salary is very negotiable plus hotel, flights, transportation.
