Electrical Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Working knowledge of operating principles of electrical machineries and equipment; including MV / LV motors, HT / MV / LV switchgear / power and distribution transformers / UPS, battery chargers, elevators and OHC
• Working knowledge of repair and maintenance of above-mentioned electrical machineries and equipment.
• Troubleshooting of control and power faults.
• Safe and proper use of tools.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures in area of responsibility.
• Records keeping.
• Basics of supervision.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

Education :   3-year diploma in electrical power OR ITI certificate :

Experience : 5 years of related experience, at least 3 years in a cement plant

Language : good written and spoken English; Arabic useful
