Job descriptionMaster’s degree qualification in a relevant subject At least 14 years’ risk management and business continuity experience, with 4 years in an enterprise or risk management role Professional training in CERA, CRM, PRM, PMP, RIMS, CRMA or any other relevant ISO 31000 in Enterprise Risk Management would be preferred Experience within the construction, civil engineering, or transportation sectors would be advantageous Demonstrable history of achieving performance targets Strong experience in risk management standards, e.g. ISO 31000 & 22301 Excellent technical knowledge of implementing and maintaining Risk Management Frameworks Strong knowledge of the general tools and techniques of risk management
Linum Consult’s client operates out of the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an Enterprise Risk Management & Business Continuity Management Manager to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading in the development, maintenance, management, and execution of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and report on risks that may impact the company’s performance
- Ensuring alignment of Risk Management with the corporate strategy and supporting senior management to ensure that risks are mitigated to a desired level
- Ensuring that the Risk Management Framework facilitates continuous improvement of the company’s capabilities for managing their top priority risks
- Ensuring the integration of ERM with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework to improve resiliency through the identification and development of response, recovery, and restoration plans in the face of any disruptions
- Adopting risk treatment strategies that are cost effective and efficient in reducing risk exposure to an acceptable level
