Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Maintenance Supervisor with a strong Mechanical technical background and expertise in MEP systems. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in supervising maintenance activities with hands‑on knowledge in Irrigation, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical works. Previous work experience in large‑scale agricultural farms will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).
  • Lead maintenance activities for irrigation systems, pumps, pipelines, and related farm equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime of facilities and equipment.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and inventory.
  • Train and guide maintenance staff to improve skills and efficiency.
  • Liaise with farm management and other departments to support smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge in Irrigation, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical systems.
  • Prior experience in large‑scale agricultural or farm projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem‑solving, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and reporting.
  • Ability to work in outdoor farm environments and handle multiple tasks.

  • Basic Salary QAR3,250, QAR250 Communication Allowance QAR300 Food Allowance QAR450 Other Allowances Total Salary QAR4,000 / month. Accommodation, Transportation, and other standard benefits as per Qatar Labour Law.
  • Duty Hours : 8 Hours
  • Working Days : 6 Days / week
  • Over Time : As per work demands
  • Contact Period : 2 Years
