About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our road infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Manage all accounting operations related to road O&M projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets specific to road infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain project-based accounting systems to track costs and revenues effectively
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of road O&M activities
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts for road O&M projects
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends
What do we need from you
