Role purpose Produce and maintain method drawings used for offshore execution : lifting / rigging sketches, sea-fastening, installation sequences, temporary works, layouts, and method statements visuals to support safe construction and offshore operations. Reporting line Typically reports to Project / Construction / Methods Manager within a methods or subsea engineering group. Key responsibilities Develop 2D / 3D drawings that support offshore construction methods (installation sequences, deck layouts, equipment arrangements, lifting plans, temporary supports). Convert method engineering inputs into clear IFC / IFR drawings , sketches, and markups for offshore teams. Ensure drawings align with HSE, lifting / rigging best practices , and project constraints (vessel, crane capacity, access / egress). Manage drawing registers, revisions, and as-built updates; coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA / QC. Support offshore queries with quick turnarounds and accurate revisions. Requirements (typical) Diploma in Drafting / Mechanical / Civil (or equivalent) Strong experience in offshore EPC / construction drafting 7+ years ) Proficiency : AutoCAD (must), often MicroStation / Navisworks / SolidWorks depending on project Understanding of lifting / rigging terminology, temporary works, and constructability
