Job Description
- Perform inspection, testing, calibration, and maintenance of control valves , positioners, actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric), and related instrumentation.
- Diagnose faults in valve operations such as leakage, hunting, or calibration drift.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble control valves and actuators according to OEM standards.
- Calibrate positioners and smart valve controllers .
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and manuals.
- Record maintenance activities and test results in maintenance logs.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards, procedures, and permit requirements.
- Coordinate with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to support planned and unplanned shutdowns or turnarounds.
- Recommend improvements or replacements for faulty or outdated valve systems

Requirements :
Education & Certifications :Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
OEM training or certification in control valve servicing (preferred).Experience :Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and calibration of control valves in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or power plant environments.
Hands-on experience with various valve brands (e.g., Fisher, Masoneilan, Emerson, Samson).Technical Skills :Strong knowledge of valve internals, actuators, positioners, and calibration tools.
Familiarity with HART communicators and diagnostic tools.Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.Other Requirements :Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit to work in plant or field conditions.Willingness to work in shutdowns, extended hours, or shifts as required.Adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
