Located in the heart of Doha our prestigious fine dining restaurant offers an extraordinary culinary experience. With a focus on exquisite food impeccable service and elegant ambiance we are dedicated to delivering memorable moments to our discerning guests. We are now seeking a talented and motivated Commis Bakery to join our dynamic kitchen team.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis Bakery to assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of baked goods for our fine dining establishment. As part of our bakery team you will contribute to creating exceptional pastries bread and desserts ensuring each product meets the high standards of quality taste and presentation that our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and Baking

Assist in preparing and baking a variety of artisanal bread pastries cakes cookies and other bakery products.

  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all bakery items.
  • Operate bakery equipment such as ovens mixers and pastry stations in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Quality Control

Monitor and ensure that all products are baked to perfection maintaining consistency in texture appearance and flavor.

  • Ensure that all bakery items are stored properly and kept at the correct temperature.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery area following food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.

    • Collaboration

    Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff to meet the restaurants needs.

  • Assist with the production of specialty items and seasonal offerings as directed.
  • Help with the preparation of garnishes decorations and plating of desserts.

    • Inventory and Stock Management

    Assist in inventory management and monitor the stock of ingredients to ensure there are no shortages.

  • Communicate with the kitchen team regarding ingredient needs and any shortages or issues.

    • Learning and Development

    Take direction from senior team members and actively participate in learning new skills techniques and recipes.

  • Keep up with industry trends and contribute innovative ideas for new baked goods and desserts.

    • Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality / Food technology Courses or any related field.
  • Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferably in a fine dining or highend restaurant setting.
  • Basic knowledge of bakery products ingredients and baking techniques.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently and cleanly under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • A positive attitude excellent communication skills and a teamoriented approach.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of bakery tools and equipment.
  • Passion for baking and creativity in food presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
