SR. MAJOR R / E TECHNICIAN

Primary Purpose of the Job

Perform as a Lead Technician to troubleshoot and carry out highly skilled maintenance, repair and overhaul of all Rotary equipment and Minor / routine maintenance of static equipment installed at QatarEnergy Refinery process units i.e. Chemical Plants, Refinery 1 & 2, RFCC, Condensate Refinery, Utilities / Off sites, Tank Farms, Berth#6, BSV3 & Station C1 at Hamad Intl. Airport (HIA).

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of Level 5 in English communication skills (oral / written).
• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical equipment Rotary / Stationary. Ability to work in a multinational environment.
• Minimum of 12 years experience in Refinery / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical plants. Must have experience in Steam / gas Turbines, Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors, Turbo machinery, Single & multistage Pumps.
• Capable of using computer for creating permits in RIS, Preferably having knowledge & experience of using SAP & MS Office (Word & Excel)

Educational Qualifications

Qualified with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
