Description

Job Title : Light Vehicle (Taxi) Driver – Filipino Nationals

Location : Doha, Qatar

Contract Type : Call-Off Contract (Commission-Based)

Job Summary :

We are seeking qualified and experienced Filipino Light Vehicle Drivers for immediate deployment under our existing call-off contract. These drivers will be engaged in taxi services across Qatar under a revenue-sharing model ( : ), where the driver will be responsible for fuel expenses. Fixed monthly salaries will not be applicable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Operate taxi vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with Qatar’s traffic laws.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers while maintaining high service standards.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or technical issues.
Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch teams.
Demonstrate accountability in handling fare collections and daily operations.

Required Qualifications & Documents

Experience : Minimum 2 years of proven light vehicle driving experience within Qatar.

License : Valid Qatar Driving License for light vehicles, held for at least 2 years (Copy must be submitted with the profile).

Training & Employment Records : Relevant formal training certificates and documented employment / service history, preferably with reputable companies in the GCC.

Police Clearance : Valid police clearance certificates from both the home country and Qatar.

National Address Certificate : In compliance with Qatar’s national address regulations.

Medical Fitness Certificate : Proof of recent medical evaluation confirming fitness for driving duties (including vision, ENT, blood pressure, and glucose tests).

Identification : Valid passport and Qatar ID (QID) with at least 1-year validity.

Language Proficiency : Basic English proficiency to follow instructions and communicate with passengers.

Excellent Knowledge of Qatar Roads : Strong familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation systems.

Safe Driving Practices : Proven ability to operate vehicles responsibly with a clean driving record.

Customer Service Skills : Courteous and professional behavior when interacting with passengers.

Basic Vehicle Maintenance Awareness : Ability to conduct routine vehicle checks and report technical issues.

Time Management : Punctuality and efficiency in completing daily driving assignments and shifts.
