Minimum Requirements Overseas Hiring :
Require only candidates currently outside of Qatar.
Bilingual Arabic-Speaking candidates and Filipinos preferred.
Education :
Full-time bachelor’s degree in Special Education
Licensing :
Must hold a valid home-country license to practice.
Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.
Essential Experience :
3+ Years' experience in the Special Education field.
Specification
As a Special Educator, you'll design and implement a Special Education Program to meet the individual needs of children and families with developmental delays and / or disabilities as identified through the Individualized Service Plan.
Provide evidence based special education services to children with disabilities in order to promote skills development and facilitates integrating in mainstream education and community.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children referred to Special Education across motor, cognitive, communication, and social-emotional domains.
Document findings and evidence-based intervention plans in line with guidelines and policy.
Drive progress through individualized Special Education plans.
Develop and review IEPs; set short- and long-term goals, strategies, and methods; adapt materials / curricula to each child’s needs.
Plan and deliver 1 : 1 and small-group sessions tailored to developmental level to build language, social, and motor skills.
Educate and support families on child development and appropriate expectations; provide practical strategies and resources.
Coordinate with community services and medical providers to secure supports; lead transition planning per the Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
