Asset Protection Officer Responsibilities
Carry out examination of occurrences and cases described by the department. Perform CCTV tracking (online and random evaluation of recordings). Conduct new staff orientation for newly hired cashier / drug store aides, and pharmacologist when requested by Kulud Administration. Submit records of all examinations and situations to the proper authority, and records of all responses to the concerned division manager. Carry out surprise branch visits and surprise cash counts. Supervise application of tasks such as CCTV setup, general practitioner installations, and fire alarm upkeep examinations of contractors. Maintain CCTV systems and address concerns at pharmacy branches; keep maintenance logs of CCTV systems. Handle security guards for selected business centers, including IMC Store and Kulud Shop. Check CCTV recordings for missing check-in / check-out by teams upon request. In-charge of department admin requirements; preserve workplace tools and facilities. Execute other responsibilities and obligations as directed by the CEO, DCEO and APM. Qualifications
Bachelor level graduate, preferably with IT or electrical training. Qatar driver’s permit, preferably with vehicle. 4-5 years of experience in possession defense / loss prevention in a retail environment. Comprehensive expertise in CCTV procedures, preventative maintenance, and system installation. Experienced detective with strong investigative abilities. Great communication skills, ideally in English. Good teamwork, versatile to fast-changing workplace and circumstances. Experience in incident monitoring, safety and security management is favored.
