Senior Projects Engineer

Responsible for the planning, coordination of the startegic and refurbishment projects & monitoring the project team's overall process and operations from conceptualization until completion within the budget's goals, and the required deadline. Principal Accountabilities

Creating sketches for concept layout using design software Track the progress and quality of design being performed by design disciplines / consultants - through reports and progress meetings Creation of scope of works for the tendering purpose, preparation / review submitted offers, and evaluation Facilitate and troubleshoot issues / Risks associated with coordinating and development, design, right-of-way acquisition, construction, and complex development projects Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines / Consultants / Contractors - through reports and site visits Review and approve project specifications, including Approved layouts, drawings, as-built drawings, and associated revisions Review contractor's payments and ensure compliance with the approved BOQ (Bills of Quantities) and progress on site Control project costs by approving expenditures, administering contractor contracts, and verifying the claims Act as a POC for all end users (Internal AAM Departments) and assist with the determination of project requirements & ensure end users’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures Prepare substantial completion letters / Memos and ensure all required project close-out documents are obtained Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations. Assist project manager in the planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule in a cost effective way Generate reports on progress / results through preparation of qualification packages and present the same to the project manager Manage and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety Participate in facility improvement projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and sustainability programs Required Qualifications

Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Construction Management.
