Senior Piping Welding Inspector Offshore 2828 Rotational

Responsibilities

Experience in site inspection of piping and structural fabrication for offshore structures.

Installation risers piping installation with hook‑up for new jackets with temporary decks for wellhead platforms.

Stages and extent of inspection during rigid (CRA) piping and exotic lines while conducting inspection required for the project and adequately describes.

Inspection required for each component reference procedures specifications codes and standards responsible personnel specific to the project requirements.

Pre‑inspection meeting shall be conducted prior to start of offshore campaign and hook‑up team.

Receive materials check type size / dimension condition & quantity. (Welding consumables, coating material, NDT consumables etc.) at offshore.

Material verification visual inspection and document review. For materials directly delivered to offshore from vendor or for items which punch list open & close during line walk.

Witness the bolt torque & hydro test as per approved ITP.

Clearance for NDT before field strength test Test pack review.

Qualifications

Bachelors / Diploma in mechanical Engineering with 15 years of experience in oil & Gas offshore projects.

CSWIP / AWS with NDT – RT UT MT PT.
