Mechanical CompletionEngineer ensures the execution of all aspects related to MechanicalCompletion, both in Home Office and at Site.
Duties and responsibilities
Incase of MILEMATE! (c) utilization in a specific project, he / she will followall MILEMATE!(c) activities for the specific project, interfacing withMechanical Completion Leader. In Home Office, his / her main responsibilitiesare :
- Toset up the construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning master ITPmodels;
- Co-operatewith Mechanical Completion coordinator, Engineering and Commissioning team toensure that all the deliverables required to build the Completion Databaseare in line with the contractual requirements (TAG list / Family TAG list / System and subsystem list / Check sheet and ITP);
- Toupload in MILEMATE! (c) the information prepared by the Engineering functionslike NPS / NPD / PD system definition, construction, pre-commissioning andcommissioning ITP project models, Discipline Tag extraction;
- Togenerate all models necessary for reporting of site inspection for each TAG(construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning);
- Participateto the development of MM training program for various project roles;
- Toensure the set-up the user account of nominated person of ConstructionQuality, in agreement with ICT;
- Toperform the gap analysis between Company master ITP models and the projectapproved ITP models limited to construction;
- Toverify the models applicability / Family TAG gap analysis for Constructionphase;
- Tovalidate the Data collection uploaded in MILEMATE! (c);
At site, operativelyreporting to the Mechanical Completion Coordinator or, if not present, to the Construction Quality Manager, his / her main duties and responsibilities arethe following :
Toreceive (by discipline supervisors or quality construction inspectors)original punch list, recording them on the punch list record logbook andassuring their insertion in MM;Totake care of the punch list progress, maintaining the updated report of theclosed items, monitoring the status of pending priority punch list in eachsubsystem and keeping Construction Management informed, and addressingdiscipline supervisors / subcontractors punch list close-out as per givenpriority by the Pre-commissioning Group;Totake care of the provision of punch lists printouts to supervisors, as wellas of the collection of approval signatures from the responsible, once thefield works have been completed;Tomonitor discipline completion, issuing the Discipline Acceptance Certificateaccording to Handover Procedure, when a discipline is completed within asubsystem;Tomonitor Field Completion Dossier status for each Subsystem / System, issuingthe Subsystem / System Ready for Commissioning Certificate according to HandoverProcedure, when the Subsystem / System is completed;AssignSubsystems / Check Sheets to each components / TAGS according to approved ITPs.Participateto Weekly meetings with Construction / Commissioning teams for hand overcompletion according to commissioning prioritizationVerifythat all the Punch points are properly characterized in the punch list formsbefore inputting them to MILEMATE! (c)Prepareall daily / weekly / monthly Mechanical Completion reports that are shared withConstruction / Commissioning teams.LeadConstruction team to handover DAC (Discipline Acceptance Certificate)LeadCommissioning team to handover MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificate) to theCLIENT to implement commissioning activities.IssueDAC, MCC and RFSU with proper certificates and documents.Preparethe Final dossier (field inspection certification dossier)Helpthe Mechanical Completion Coordinator / Engineers to populate the data intoMILEMATE! c)Scanall the completed Check sheets to MILEMATE!(c) , insert / close the Punch Listsin MILEMATE! c), archiving properly all the documentsPerson Specification
Knowledge& Qualifications
University degree or diploma in relevant disciplineor equivalent.
Experience
Significant experience in the industrialconstruction of large or XL gas plants.
Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects ofcomparable size.
A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience.
