About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying for our road infrastructure projects, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

Prepare and analyze cost estimates for road maintenance and improvement projects

Conduct detailed quantity take‑offs and cost analyses for tenders and contracts

Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims

Perform value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success

Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cash flow forecasts

Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing

Ensure compliance with local regulations and international best practices in quantity surveying

Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors in the team

Implement and maintain quality control procedures for all quantity surveying activities

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on roads operations and maintenance projects

Proven experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure projects

Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

In‑depth knowledge of roads operations and maintenance practices

Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and local construction regulations in Qatar

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
