Minimum Requirements Overseas Hiring : Candidates currently outside of Qatar.
Education : Fulltime Studies Bachelor’s degree in Health Care related field.
Licensing : Must have a valid license to practice from country of origin. Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar. Credentialing from CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Essential Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience.
Role Purpose The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring continuous communication with physicians and colleagues regarding patient conditions. The role also involves assisting physicians during invasive procedures, managing cardiovascular and invasive-related tasks, and operating all equipment with accuracy and safety. Additionally, the position supports the Senior Technologist in the planning and coordination of activities within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, arrange, and configure equipment for procedures and interventions, ensuring accurate machine settings for optimal image quality and patient / staff safety.
Perform scrub technologist duties during procedures.
Assist the operator by managing equipment operations and providing necessary accessories such as catheters, contrast media, pressure systems, and injections.
Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure sterility of all procedure setups.
Assist with patient preparation prior to procedures.
Deliver patient care and execute physician’s orders during catheterization procedures.
Perform proper handover to the designated CCL staff nurse.
Support emergency resuscitation measures when required.
Contribute to identifying training needs of junior CCL staff.
Participate in the orientation and mentorship of newly hired staff.
Report equipment or machinery issues to supervisors and ensure timely updates on supplies and materials.
Provide patient care before and after procedures, with specific attention to procedure-related needs.
Undertake additional duties as assigned.
