Position Overview:

Malomatia is committed to retaining local talents and providing opportunities for young graduates to shape their professional lives. This objective is achieved through strategic programs such as the “ Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) ” program. The program is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to various IT / business capabilities within the organization. The Graduate Engineering Trainee will undergo a structured training program aimed at developing your technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional competencies.

Working under the guidance of experienced IT / Business Leaders and mentors, you will be tasked with training and work for the duration of 12 months

• 6 MONTHS OF TRAINING PERIOD
• 6 MONTHS OF PROJECT DEPLOYMENT

Tasks during 6 Months of Training Period

As a graduate engineering trainee, you will be assigned tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

• Learning and Development You will be assigned to participate in training sessions, workshops, and online courses to acquire foundational knowledge and skills in areas such as Security, Data / AI, Cloud, Product Management, Automation, and Software Development
• Project / Program Management You will be assigned to support the project / program management teams in the execution and delivery of projects / programs in Security, Data / AI, Cloud, Product Management, Automation, and Software Development and contribute to project tasks under the supervision of senior team members.
• Solution Finding Through Innovative Approaches Malomatia adopts innovative approach to resolve technological and business challenges. You will be assigned to collaborate with team members to find solutions to business / technological challenges. Learn to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address real-world challenges encountered during various phases of a project delivery or development.
• Technology Discovery Malomatia uses and explores emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to the business objectives. You may be tasked with staying updated with industry trends and best practices through mentorship, job rotation, self-study, research, and participation in technical forums or communities, and other emerging trends.
• Synergy and Interaction Work closely with technology experts, consultants, business owners, program directors, capability leaders, functional experts, solution architects, security analysts, and cross-functional teams, including lead developers, development managers, testers, architects, and project managers, to contribute effectively to project deliverables. Communicate progress, updates, and challenges transparently to team members and supervisors to seek insights, making the learning journey an enlightening experience.
• Adherence to Processes As part of your on-the-job training, it's important to adhere to established processes, governance, standards, and quality guidelines. By doing so, you ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with malomatia’s organizational standards. Additionally, you will be provided, depending on the project you are assigned to and if applicable, with guidance on effectively utilizing version control systems, issue tracking tools, and other development, management resources. Mastering these tools will not only streamline your workflow but also contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in our projects delivery and client satisfaction.
