The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our group of specialised companies. Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions and day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in a timely manner.

Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key financial insights to management.

Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.

Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements in Qatar.

Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support a smooth and efficient audit process.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.

Proven professional experience working as an Accountant, preferably within a holding company or a multi‑entity environment.

In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards (IFRS), and financial reporting.

High proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.

Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.

A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) would be highly regarded.

Previous experience in the media or creative industries is desirable but not essential.
