This position is responsible in ensuring a high quality of service in greeting and assisting our guests. Be familiar with the Restaurant menus and be able to upsell.
Welcome guests to the venue and consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
Greet guests upon their departure.
Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists to assist guests regarding all food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
Manage reservations.
Have full knowledge of food and beverages list and promotions.
Escort the guest to dining or bar areas.
Provide menus and announce the waiter / waitress’s name following outlets policies, procedures, and service standards.
Coordinate with the team bout available seating options.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when communicating with guests.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Previous Hostess experience is an asset
Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System is an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Basic Food Safety Certificate
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
