Mixologist

The Mixologist at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is an expert in the art and science of crafting innovative and exceptional cocktails. This role requires creativity advanced knowledge of spirits and mixology techniques and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience in a luxury setting. The Mixologist plays a key role in elevating the beverage program and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the bar.

Key Responsibilities

Create and serve unique high-quality cocktails and beverages that align with the brands luxury standards and guest preferences.

Develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus in collaboration with the Bar Manager.

Engage guests with expert knowledge about drinks ingredients and mixology trends to enhance their experience.

Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area ensuring all tools and ingredients are prepared and readily available.

Train and mentor bar staff on cocktail preparation presentation and customer service.

Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Manage inventory monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal bar operations.

Handle guest inquiries special requests and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Participate in promotional events and collaborate with marketing teams to highlight the bars offerings.

Stay current with industry trends new techniques and innovative mixology practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mixologist or Senior Bartender preferably in luxury hotel / s and / or resort / s.

Deep knowledge of spirits liqueurs cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.

Creativity and passion for crafting innovative drinks.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused approach.

Ability to train motivate and lead bar team members.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physically able to stand for long periods and perform bar-related tasks.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays.
