Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The Role Plan the progression of the project drawings and come out with the schedule to follow for the projects keeping the dead line, project requirements and other things in mind. To be able to coordinate with client and consultants for drawing approvals. Checking / Verifying the drawings / calculations prepared, recognizing and implementing the changes to be made. Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts. Sketches rough layouts and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages and location of holes. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to project requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing. Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems. Implementing QHSE Management System in their area Responsible for achieving the objectives in their area Requirements 10 years experience in Construction (MEP Division) field. Must be experienced in design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection System. Required computer skills include : commercial cooling / heating load calculation software, MSOffice, and Auto CAD Experience with coordinated shop drawings of mechanical systems as well as electrical systems. The individual will involve projects; design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for projects of various types. Types of projects include full service hotels, condominums, spec office buildings, tenant up-fits and garden style apartments.
