EV Technician

KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE :

• The Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician diagnose service and repair high voltage Electric Vehicles (EV) and commercial charging stations.
• Must have extensive & expert knowledge of how lithium-ion batteries and automotive systems interact.
• Repair maintain troubleshoot and service electrical charging infrastructure using skills and tools that range from computer diagnostics to basic electrical tools.
• Understanding of EV systems including e-machines; Inverters; Batteries; Battery management systems; DC Vehicle Charging etc.
• Perform required preventative maintenance activities on vehicles systems and carry out workshop tests on engine drive battery pack and BMS communication systems and embedded systems.
