Licensing : Must hold a valid home-country license to practice. Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar. Specification The Senior Consultant is the most senior physician within their specialty (after the Department Chair / Section Head), responsible for leading a team of consultants and junior doctors. They oversee patient care, ensure clinical excellence, and are accountable for all medical decisions under their supervision. In addition to providing expert-level care, the Senior Consultant contributes to strategic planning, research, teaching, and service development—working closely with leadership on staffing, training, budgeting, and quality improvement. They serve as a role model in clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Include :
