Business Analyst - IT (Qatarization)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our agile delivery team, working in a scaled agile environment to deliver impactful solutions for our commercial teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive requirements engineering, and help ensure our agile delivery is efficient, customer-centric and value driven. Key Responsibilities

Requirements Management : Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with commercial, IT, and external partners to understand needs and objectives and translate them into actionable requirements. Problem Analysis : Identify root causes of business problems and facilitate effective solutions using techniques such as RCA and PFC. Process Analysis : Analyze and optimize business processes (as-is and to-be) using techniques such as BPMN and UML modeling. Wireframing and User Experience : Collaborate with UX and development teams to define mock-ups and deliver high quality UI / UX designs. Agile Delivery : Work as a core member of an agile delivery pod, participating in agile ceremonies (PI planning, stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and OKRs). Backlog Support : Refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals and commercial strategy. Quality Assurance : Collaborate with QA and development teams to define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Change Enablement : Support change management, business roll-out, and provide post go-live support and training. Knowledge Skills & Experience Bachelor\'s in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Commerce, or relevant major with at least 2+ years of job-related experience OR High School / Vocational / Diploma with at least 2+ years of job-related experience. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and ability to work in multicultural teams Hands-on experience with agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar frameworks). Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with requirements analysis, process modeling (UML / BPMN), and backlog management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Draw.io, Visio etc). Preferred Qualifications Business Analysis certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, IREB, BCS etc) Agile certifications (CSPO, CSM, SAFe Practitioner, CPOA, etc.). Commercial acumen and understanding of airline corporate digital solutions in human resource, finance, legal, corporate service domains. About Qatar Airways Group
