Equipment Operation : Operate machinery like cranes, hoists, and winches to move heavy materials. Rigging Assembly & Repair : Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging systems, including cables, pulleys, and blocks, using hand and power tools. Load Attachment & Control : Securely attach loads to rigging equipment, then carefully control their movement, including tilting and maneuvering them around obstacles in confined spaces. Safety & Inspection : Inspect equipment, test rigging before use to ensure safety and reliability, and ensure all operations meet industry standards. Communication : Direct and communicate with other workers using hand and verbal signals to ensure safety and efficiency during hoisting operations. Scaffolding : Erect, support, and maintain temporary structures like scaffolding and other supports on construction sites. Load Management : Select appropriate rigging gear, such as cables, pulleys, and winches, based on the load's weight and size. Load Detachment : Safely detach loads from lifting devices once they reach their designated location. Qualifications & Information
