Overview :

We are seeking to hire a Civil Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.

The candidate must have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Structural Design & Construction.

Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct civil and structural engineering activities throughout all project stages.
• Review all project drawings and documents (civil, structural, specifications, calculations, materials) for compliance with scope, standards, and specifications.
• Participate in project pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hand-over activities.
• Evaluate contract changes / variations, making recommendations based on guidelines and standards.
• Review and approve method statements for scope compliance and liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate technical bid packages and participate in pre-tender meetings and evaluations, submitting reports accordingly.
• Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate engineering designs and review work scopes for clarity and comprehensiveness.
• Support the development of technical skills among team members.
• Work effectively in multicultural environments and resolve technical challenges.
• Inspect civil works and oversee the takeover of completed buildings or facilities.
• Ensure achievement of KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
