Senior Internal Auditor, Qatar

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying and evaluating organisational risk areas to develop the annual audit plan
• Preparing detailed audit programmes tailored to each audit to ensure effective audit techniques are performed
• Conducting audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence
• Identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues & recommendations, using independent judgment concerning the areas being reviewed
• Making recommendations on ways to improve audit work processes and internal controls
• Preparing and assisting in communicating the audit results via written reports to management and the board of directors
• Assisting in staff development through training, mentoring, and providing guidance on audit procedures
