ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure the implementation of a quality policy that guarantees the operability, maintainability, reliability, and safety of new production facilities.
Oversee the successful integration of new equipment or facilities within the field.
Address all operations-related aspects within projects, including operability, reliability, and maintainability, during the design and construction phases of facilities.
ACTIVITIES
HSEQ Responsibilities :
Prioritize Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) in all activities.
Support and enforce the Project HSEQ management system, including charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures, and specifications.
Embed and promote HSEQ philosophies across all levels of project execution, including project teams and contractors, through proactive engagement (e.g., site tours, HSEQ meetings, incentive actions).
Monitor work activities to identify potential unsafe acts and ensure risks are properly assessed before work begins (Job Safety Analysis).
During Project Phase (EPCIC / Site Commissioning) :
Participate in HAZOPs, Risk Assessments, and 3D Model reviews for installation and construction activities.
Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager and Site Commissioning Teams, especially during preparation phases, to facilitate offshore execution.
Engage in HAZOP, HAZID, PRs, and JRA activities as required.
Contribute to operability and maintainability studies and support key operational processes.
Assist in the development of main operating procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose, aligned with current field practices, and delivered on time.
Identify training needs and develop training programs for field operations stakeholders related to new facilities.
Represent Field Operations at Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for key / critical equipment.
Ensure project design bases align with existing field bottlenecks or identified debottlenecking actions.
Supervise site operations teams during installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Deputize for the Field Operations Lead as needed.
Prepare comprehensive feedback and lessons learned reports at the conclusion of each project.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Operations experience with field exposure and prior roles in production operations and projects (minimum 2 to 5 years).
Familiarity with production, process, and flow assurance engineering.
Knowledge of industry standards, management systems, and relevant codes preferred.
Fluent in English.
Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in complex, multicultural project environments.
Strong analytical skills.
Availability for frequent travel to EPCIC contractor and vendor sites.
Required certifications : H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training.
