QC Inspector Welding

Requirements Proven experience inspecting welding activities for offshore oil gas projects Familiarity with international standards e g API ASME AWS ISO Certification in welding inspection e g CSWIP API 653 is preferred Strong knowledge of welding procedures materials and testing methods Responsibilities Perform inspections and tests on welded joints in offshore facilities Ensure welding and fabrication activities comply with codes standards and project specifications Review welding procedures welder qualifications and inspection reports Document inspection findings and nonconformities Coordinate with construction teams to resolve welding issues Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Civil or related Engineering discipline Welding inspection certifications CSWIP 3 1 3 2 or equivalent Extensive offshore welding inspection experience in Oil Gas projects
