Senior Electrical Engineer

Our Doha, Qatar Design Services Group is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region. In this role, you will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team on infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other project types.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design low-voltage systems, including power distribution, emergency supplies, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and cable management, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Design extra-low voltage systems, such as data networks, voice networks, fire alarms, public address systems, access control, intrusion alarms, IPTV, intercom, with proficiency in specialized software for heat map, audio, and CCTV FOV simulation.
• Develop infrastructure plans, focusing on dry utility networks, including medium, low, and extra-low voltage networks.
• Collaborate with the electrical team and other departments during all project phases, including concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
• Perform power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, protection coordination, harmonic analysis, arc flash, and equipment sizing.
• Manage multiple electrical design tasks across various projects.
• Utilize essential engineering software tools such as ETAP, CAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux Evo, Relux, AGi32, StrikeRisk, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office Suite.
