Finance Manager (Marine industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate financial reports and statements.
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.
• Oversee internal controls and risk management measures.
• Approve key financial entries such as SOA, FDA, and job closing journals.
• Implement cost control strategies to improve profitability.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Lead and guide the finance team to maintain high standards and ethics.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, authorities, suppliers).
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
