Speech therapist vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Indian Speech Therapist in Al-Khor, Qatar.

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Indian Speech Therapist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with speech and language disorders.

As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various communication disorders such as articulation, fluency, language, and voice disorders. You will work closely with children and adults of all ages, providing individualized therapy plans to help improve their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the nature and severity of speech and language disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Provide therapy sessions to improve speech production, comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing abilities
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, psychologists, and teachers to provide comprehensive care for patients
Educate parents / caregivers on how to support their child's communication development at home
Stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of speech therapy through attending conferences and workshops

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution

Valid license / registration from the country of origin (if applicable)

Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred but not required

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Empathy and patience when working with patients of varying ages and backgrounds
