Truck driver

Overview Truck Driver - Doha, Qatar (African Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our company in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a variety of trucks and a valid driver’s license. The ability to speak and write English is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a truck and transport goods from one location to another.

Be familiar with local roads and regulations and maintain excellent defensive driving skills.

Accurately check load paperwork before departing on routes.

Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain logs of travel time, mileage, fuel consumption, stops made, etc.

Have good knowledge of the geography of the country you are driving in and manage time efficiently to complete deliveries on time.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and experience driving a variety of trucks.

Ability to speak and write English is not required for this position.

Good knowledge of local geography and routes.

Strong time management and defensive driving skills.

Africa-based candidates are preferred for this position.
