Overview
The Driver provides safe and timely transportation for staff, documents, and materials, with a focus on supporting the Accounts Department. The role includes running errands, banking transactions, and acting as a messenger to ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery Services Drive company vehicles for internal and external errands. Deliver financial documents and other materials to banks, government offices, and vendors. Collect and return documents, payments, or cheques as required. Ensure adherence to traffic regulations and company safety policies. Maintain punctuality and reliability in completing assigned trips. Assist staff with loading / unloading items when required. Banking & Financial Support Deposit cheques, cash, and other financial documents at designated banks. Collect bank statements, payment receipts, and other financial documents. Coordinate with bank personnel to ensure smooth transactions. Maintain accurate records of trips to banks and financial activities. Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during banking activities. Assist in urgent or ad hoc financial errands as needed. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Conduct regular checks of oil, water, brakes, tires, and other vehicle components. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Accounts Manager. Ensure cleanliness and proper use of company vehicles. Maintain fuel and mileage logs accurately. Follow company guidelines for vehicle usage and safety. Ensure compliance with traffic rules and safe driving practices. Administrative & Communication Support Serve as a point of contact for couriers and delivery services. Maintain a record of all deliveries, pick-ups, and completed trips. Communicate any delays or issues promptly to the Manager. Coordinate with other departments for urgent document transfers. Assist with minor administrative tasks as needed. Support smooth operational workflow within the department. Compliance & Professionalism Ensure adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Handle all documents, payments, and sensitive information with discretion. Maintain professional behavior at all times with internal and external stakeholders. Adhere to company policies regarding conduct, dress code, and attendance. Comply with traffic and legal requirements for driving in Qatar. Report incidents, accidents, or violations immediately. Contribute positively to the workplace culture and departmental efficiency. Qualifications
Education Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate or accounts support role. Familiarity with Qatar roads and banking procedures is an advantage Competencies Valid Qatar Driving License Safe driving practices and good knowledge of traffic rules. Time management and reliability. Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion. Basic communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Punctual, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
