Site Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and monitor all site construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, safety, and quality standards.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow on site.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Interpret construction drawings and resolve any on-site technical issues.

Ensure materials used are as per specifications and inspect quality of work performed.

Maintain project documentation such as site diaries, logs, and inspection records.

Liaise with the project planning team to schedule activities and resource requirements.

Enforce site safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments.

Attend project meetings and provide updates on site activities and challenges.

Coordinate with consultants, architects, and local authorities as required.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Proven experience as a site engineer in civil construction projects (2–5 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
