A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice and tours of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with company standards.

What will I be doing?

Attending Hilton trainings and monthly departmental meetings as required

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the department

Reporting maintenance issues to Front Office Manager

Assisting in all areas of the operations as requested by Front Office Manager

Being fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel

Ensuring the departmental operation budget is adhered to, maximizing revenues and minimizing expenses

Providing efficient guest service from arrival to check out. Booking, changing andCancelling appointments and up selling retail

Accurately scheduling all massage reservations, changes, confirmations and cancellations

Processing all billing and posting for spa and retail services; reporting any overages and shortages to Front Office Manager

Explaining spa treatment menus and packages to guests

Greeting and welcoming all incoming and outgoing guests and staff in accordance with brand standards

Maintaining the quality of service and overall appearance of locker areas, lounge areas and restrooms

Ensuring proper cleanliness of locker room, lounge, steam / sauna room, prep room and restrooms

Stocking water and other beverages and setting up and breaking down beverage and fruit stations

Assisting guests and providing personal training sessions, if necessary

Maintaining the fitness center : looking after equipment and coordinating with Precor representative for maintenance and product updates

Ensuring audio-visual equipment is well maintained and in good condition

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the department

Providing courteous and efficient guest service from arrival through check out

Orienting guests to the fitness facility, greeting guests and providing personal guest service

What are we looking for? A Spa Therapist serving Hilton Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Experience in hospitality or customer service industry is required

Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to effectively communicate with guests

Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of organization

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

At least 1 year experience in the spa or hospitality industry

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

Experience in a resort or wellness related field
