Qualifications, Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
HR professional certification from a recognized institution (preferred).
4–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong command of English and Arabic.
Proficient in MS Office tools.
Candidates must be currently based in Qatar.
JOB PURPOSE Responsible for delivering an effective payroll service for all employees (staff and workers) and ensuring that all employees are remitted accurately and timely with correct earnings and deductions in accordance with policies and procedures and statutory regulations.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Operational
Adherence to quality, health & Safety, Information security and business continuity policies.
Assist Head of Employee Relations with the preparation of HR Strategy and annual budget.
Manage end-to-end processing of the company payroll.
Prepare and administer master payrolls for all employees with the earnings and necessary deductions.
Ensure error free data entries while processing payroll. Verify and audit the payroll information to ensure compliance with the local regulations.
Reconcile payroll bank statements and review the accuracy of payroll deductions.
Conduct all activities related to the pension processing for relevant employees and liaise with the relevant pension authorities, as and when required.
Ensure timely payment of various allowances – education assistance, furniture allowances etc. to employees as per the policies & procedures.
Work closely with the HR team to perform the required changes to the payroll entries, in case of any change in employee’s pay related information.
Calculate leave entitlements, end-of-service benefits, and other benefits in an accurate and timely manner.
Review labour’s timesheets and record / update over time (OT) hours in ERP. Ensure OT allowance is processed accurately and paid out timely.
Address any payroll related queries from employees of the organization. If required, escalates the issue to the line manager.
Liaise with various bank representatives to open bank accounts for both staff and skilled workers respectively to ensure their salaries and all other allowances are credited timely.
Contribute to the improvement and development of systems and procedures to increase the efficiency of the payroll.
Review medical insurance invoices and liaise with the insurance company representatives periodically to provide medical costs reports for all active employees.
Prepare payroll / pension’s returns in line with set timescales, legal requirements and agreed standards.
Prepare payroll related reports for senior and top management as and when required. Ensure all payroll sheets duly signed are filed.
Manage all processes involved in the payroll and pension administration ensuring alignment to the defined policies and procedures.
Perform any other ad‑hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per business requirements.
