Description

We’re looking for a Moderation Support Executive to join our operations team at Qatar Living. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all ads and listings on our platform meet our posting standards and provide users with a safe and trustworthy experience.

As a Moderation Support Executive, you will work in the back office, reviewing and validating user-submitted ads requests, and ensuring that all content aligns with Qatar Living’s posting guidelines. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting fraudulent or suspicious activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve user-submitted ads in accordance with Qatar Living’s posting guidelines.
  • Handle Ads and Subscriptions requests, ensuring payment confirmation and compliance before publication.
  • Identify and report fake, misleading, or scam ads promptly to protect platform integrity.
  • Verify that all listings meet content and image quality standards.
  • Communicate with users regarding ad status (approvals, rejections, or clarifications) in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of moderation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, and customer support) to resolve ad-related issues efficiently.
  • Generate regular reports on moderation trends, common violations, and fraud cases.
  • Contribute ideas to improve moderation processes and enhance user safety.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • A minimum of two years experience in ads moderation, customer operations, or platform support.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with online publishing tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a similar role within the digital marketplace.
  • Knowledge of online safety and security practices.
