Overview

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a talented and qualified Art Teacher to join our school. You must have recent experience working as an Art Teacher in a UK curriculum school internationally or within the UK. The role is due to start from January 2026. Candidates must be available from January 4th to commence employment. United School International is the first and probably only school to be built on the Pearl, providing education for children within the local community. The Pearl offers world-class facilities to support exceptional teaching, including touch screen technology, technology labs, art facilities, landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas, a 450-seat auditorium / theatre, STEAM & robotics room, swimming pool, training pool, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts and a full-size football pitch. Applicants should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners, able to lead in the classroom by example.

Requirements

  • Have a relevant Bachelor degree from a reputable university and qualified Teacher status, either PGCE or B.Ed from the UK
  • Have previous teaching experience in a UK curriculum school teaching Art
  • Have a passion for education, able to communicate clearly with good collaborative team working skills

United School International is a newly founded school on the prestigious Pearl Development in Doha, Qatar. The Pearl is a residential development with a mix of housing, and the school is part of Orbital Education in collaboration with United Development Company. The school provides a British style of education based upon the English National Curriculum, while retaining local culture and tradition.
