• Job Description
• OverviewAn experienced Electrical Engineer is required to manage and maintain electrical systems within a Facilities Management (FM) environment. The role involves overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting FM projects, and driving energy efficiency initiatives. Your roleElectrical Systems Management
• Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical systems including LV / MV panels, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
• Ensure proper execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.Project Support
• Provide technical expertise for electrical design, installation, and commissioning in FM projects.
• Review electrical drawings and specifications for compliance with Qatar regulations and international standards.Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to Qatar Civil Defense and safety standards for electrical systems.
• Implement health and safety protocols during maintenance and project execution.Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and asset performance.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency.About you
• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred : Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in the same position within Facilities Management.
• Overall 10+ years of experience in civil engineering roles, preferably in FM.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and energy management.Skills
• Proficiency in CAFM systems, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with SFG20 standards, ISO FM standards, and Qatar regulatory requirements.
• Experience in energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and asset lifecycle management.
