Java Architect

Team Lead @ Cognizant | Leadership, Recruitment Strategy Architect – Java – Overall 10+ years of experience in architecting and developing Java applications.

Experience in building integrations with Apache Camel.

Minimum 2-3 years in architecting and developing event-driven integrations.

Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.

Very strong hands‑on experience in Java-based technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other cloud‑native Java frameworks.

Strong hands‑on experience in middleware technologies using JMS, AMQP, and MQ frameworks.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps methodologies, and software development lifecycle.

Must have good analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Knowledge in RDBMS concepts and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop Java applications, including building integrations with Apache Camel.

Design and implement event-driven integrations using enterprise integration patterns.

Leverage middleware technologies such as JMS, AMQP, and MQ frameworks to enable communication.

Utilize cloud-native Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and operate in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Apply DevOps and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Provide analytical and troubleshooting support to resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in architecting and developing Java applications.

2–3 years of experience in architecting and developing event‑driven integrations.

Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.

Hands‑on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes.

Experience with JMS, AMQP, MQ messaging frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience in DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
