Asset Protection Officer Responsibilities
Records to Possession Protection Manager. Carries out examination of cases & incidents described by the division. Performs CCTV monitoring (real-time as well as random review of recordings). Conducts new personnel orientation of newly-hired cashier / drug store aides, and pharmacologist when requested by Kulud Management. Submit records of all investigations & cases to the proper authority, and maintain records of all incidents reported to the division manager. Carries out surprise branch visits and monitors cash handling. Monitor implementation of projects such as CCTV setup, GPS installations & smoke alarm maintenance; assess service providers. Maintains CCTV systems regularly; visit drug store branches to address issues on CCTV systems; maintain logs of maintenance problems of CCTV systems. Take care of security personnel for company facilities, including IMC Store and Kulud Store. Checks CCTV recordings for missing check-in / out of personnel upon request. In-charge of department admin needs; maintain office equipment and facilities. Perform other duties as directed by the CEO, DCEO and APM. Qualifications
Locally available. Bachelor degree, ideally in IT or electrical-related fields. Qatar driver license, ideally with a vehicle. 4-5 years' experience in asset protection / loss prevention in a retail environment. Substantial knowledge of CCTV procedures, preventive maintenance, and system installation. Experienced private investigator with strong investigative skills; formal examination training is a plus. Excellent communication skills, English preferred. Excellent team player; adaptable to fast-changing workplace and scenarios. Experience in case management, protection and security management is preferred. For local / hiring within the region only. Job Details
