Minimum Requirements

Education :
Must hold one of the following :Full-time Bachelor degree in OT3-Year Diploma in OT (WFOT accredited)Entry-Level Master degree in OTLicensing :

5+ years clinical experience (Bachelor - WFOT accredited)7+ years clinical experience(Bachelor - not WFOT accredited)6+ years clinical experience (Diploma + Master)License to practice must cover the min required years experience.Specification
This role involves independently managing a caseload of patients, delivering evidence-based assessments, treatments, and discharge planning.
The therapist collaborates closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, while also contributing to education, service development, and clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
Independently assess, treat, and discharge patients based on clinical needsDevelop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and familiesProvide patient and caregiver education throughout the care processMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with professional standardsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams through rounds, clinics, and conferencesSupport continuity of care with clear clinical recommendations and communicationDeliver care on weekends, holidays, and during on-call shifts as neededSupervise and delegate tasks to therapy technicians, assistants, and aidesParticipate in department safety, quality improvement, and policy implementationEngage in continuing education and professional development activitiesDeliver educational sessions for staff, caregivers, and healthcare professionalsContribute to research activities and promote evidence-based practice#J-18808-Ljbffr
