Job description

We are looking for a Head of Digital Media & Creative Content. This role will be responsible for leading a team and holding strategic and creative ownership of all content across all digital platforms. A successful candidate will be a digital native with a proven track record in creative content development, digital campaign strategy, and platform management. While this role does not involve direct management of all creative functions, it requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all digital outputs align with communications objectives and priorities. Key Responsibilities

Digital Media Leadership

Lead Digital Media team in managing and publishing content across all social channels and website(s). Oversee the development and implementation of an integrated content calendar, ensuring timely, strategic, and coordinated outputs. Manage reporting cycles for digital performance, including monthly, quarterly, and campaign-based evaluations. Creative Content Direction

Act as the primary creative lead across all digital platforms, guiding the concept, tone, and execution of content in collaboration with design, copy, and production teams. Ensure that all digital content reflects strategic messaging, maintains consistency, and meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. Proactively generate and pitch creative ideas that support national initiatives, public diplomacy, and strategic narratives. Manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time, delegating tasks to team members to ensure successful implementation. Platform Oversight

Oversee content strategy and updates for the website, working closely with technical and content teams to ensure relevance, usability, and brand consistency. Collaborate on platform innovation, ensuring we maintain a modern, effective, and impactful digital presence. Paid Media & Campaign Strategy

Supervise and advise on the creative and content direction of paid digital media campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall communications goals. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize reach, engagement, and impact of paid initiatives. Strategic & Long-Term Planning

Drive forward-looking planning for major events, global moments, and high-profile campaigns. Contribute to the development of strategy documents and content plans that shape long-term storytelling and public engagement. Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital content, communications, or media strategy, with significant experience leading teams or major projects. Proven ability to lead digital and creative initiatives from concept through execution in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Strong understanding of social media platforms, web development workflows, and paid media strategies. Demonstrated ability to guide multi-format content creation and manage creative alignment across channels. Proficient in digital reporting tools and able to derive actionable insights from performance data. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in Arabic is strongly preferred.
