Cost Controller

Position : Senior Cost Control Engineer

Location : Site base

Job Purpose :

Implement cost control procedures and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budgets, providing reliable forecasts and supporting decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain project cost control plans and budgets.
• Track and monitor actual costs versus budget, analyze variances and identify trends.
• Develop cost forecasts and cash flow projections, highlighting deviations.
• Coordinate with project teams to validate cost data and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in the development of cost control procedures and templates.
• Manage cost coding and ensure proper allocation of costs to work breakdown structures.
• Analyze committed costs, accruals, and booked cost to identify variances.
• Monitor CPI, SPI, CV and SV to assess project performance.
• Develop and issue Key Performance Indicators to evaluate cost code allocation, productivity, resource utilization, project performance.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier cost.
• Assist with change management by assessing cost impacts of changes.
• Conduct cost risk analyses and maintain contingency allocations.
• Provide training to junior cost engineers and contribute to the development of cost control systems.
