GSW- Engineer- Hardware and System

Responsibilities

• Must have minimum 5 years of experience with Hardware & Infrastructure – Setting-up Servers (Dell, HP, Cisco), Storage systems and configuration of Networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Strong experience with Operating Systems both Linux and Windows Servers.
• Scripting & Automation – Bash, PowerShell, Python
• Networking Protocols – TCP / IP, VPN, VLANs, Subnetting, Firewalls, Routing / Switching
• Design, install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networking, and peripheral hardware
• Implement and maintain OS, virtualization platforms, and system monitoring tools
• Collaborate with software, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure hardware compatibility and optimal system performance
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management
• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure performance issues
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities for critical systems
• Implement security policies, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation
• Support technical problem solving, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
