Project Manager- High Voltage

The opportunity

To ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and delivering results from order entry to project. commissioning that ensures repeatable customer business.

How you’ll make an impact

Leading the successful execution of High Voltage Orders booked in Qatar.

Monitor and achieve important KPIs including Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On-time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction, etc.

Ensure that all order execution related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.

Build up strong relations with customers and manage customer satisfaction through on-time execution of projects.

Project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment.

Take an active role in identifying risks, negotiating and resolving escalated issues, especially those raised by the customer.

Ensure that the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures, and that projects are closed as per contracts entered with customers.

Lead the coordination of any customer request whether they are related to execution or additional requests to projects which lead to additional sales.

Lead the Digital and Service Interface in Qatar with the newly formed BU of Service.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent with a strong technical background
• Minimum of 10 to 15 Years of experience
• Experience in the High Voltage industry with exposure to Project Management
• Possess strong leadership skills and ability to lead the team and convince stakeholders in the interest of the project
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects on time, within cost, and with quality
• Experience with SAP or another ERP platform is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables
• Capability to develop work practices and to take lessons learned and implement them into processes
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate across cross‑functional and cross‑cultural teams
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required
